There are two ways I've chosen to express this divine reality, to teach this eternal truth as simply and succinctly as possible, concerning who and what we are in Christ.

One is this. "I am a Child of God in whom Jesus dwells. And I live in my Father's Kingdom. This is who I am and where I am, regardless of what may be raging around me." We might even add... "or within me." 

The other is: "I am a Human being made in Abba's image; I am a Son or Daughter of His made in the image of God. And I am not here by accident. My purpose is to know, to love, and to serve the Living God of all Creation."

This is your Eternal Identity: the Beloved of Abba. You are a Beloved Son, a Beautiful Daughter. Remember, "those who take refuge in" Yahweh are the apple of His eye {Ps. 17:7-8}, a treasure chosen by His loving hand.
